I think somebody on BBC posted before full refund for <15 overs, 50% refund for 15-30 overs.

Call me an old cynic but am I right in suggesting that if they commence for just one over, they don't have to give any refunds out?

Is that in "the spirit of the game?" if true

It is up to an including 15 for half refund and 30 for no refund.

It used to be 10 and 25.

The refund won't affect the host as is covered by the ECB insurers, but obviously could affect future premiums. The crowd can drink more beer etc on days when there is promise of play but rained off, so there may be little or no loss on rain days.
