Can't wrap my head around Bazball...

Is there anyone out there that understands Bazball?

Can any bigger cricket brains explain why we went all out on day4 in the 2nd test - just to piss it away by tea...
Duckett has gone T20 mode and positioned us nicely, hunker down for 3 sessions - nah fuck that...

Literally, where is the off-switch...

If we played how we used to when in India, India would have got 600 we would have been all out for under 200 and already 3 nil down! This England side will still believe they have a chance! It's a mentality change! When they get out it's not it was a bad shot in that situation it was I didn't play it well enough!

I'd rather watch this than how we used to play scratch around looking shit scared then get out..

Yeah, I get that. Of course, it's fun to watch....

Bazball is much like communism in that regard - it's not been fully tried out yet...

If as soon as the 5th wicket fell, Crawley came back out and the game was England have 15 wickets btw... So it's now Stokes and Crawley having a smash. That would work. If that doesn't work, bring back Pope and Root to bat - give England 18 wickets.
 
There is going to be havoc at ECB is Leach and Root are still allowed to be England's best spinners

Also that first innings bowling by Hartley proved he can do as good as leach as in keeping it tight! When we play at home Root should be our main spinner then Hartley our second choice because he can bat a bit too
 
Normal service resumed, or to put it bluntly and factual, fucking rubbish

How we won first test is still baffling but that’s all we will get, a 4-1 pasting now

That was a harsh line that Root's now bowled more overs than he's scored runs in the series.

Meanwhile, Jaiswal has woken up.

Not sure there is an obvious 'safe' score that can't be chased on this pitch. Presumably England will think 350 is a reasonable chance.
