Out of how many tests? Flakes is no mug at all with the bat and he has improved.Averages 32 for England with a top score of 113
I agree, the stats are there for all to see but I would still go with Foakes as keeper and Bairstow as a specialist batsman. He (Bairstow) hasn't kept or batted well in this series. He doesn't deserve his place in the team. Foakes must really have pissed off the hierarchy at the ECB.
Fair enough.During those 5 innings he scored 10%( at the rime) of his test career runs , it was really hot streak , he's simply not on that streak now , for me there isn't a place for him, but I never expected they would change :(
20 I agree with you he's not Bairstows average is 36Out of how many tests? Flakes is no mug at all with the bat and he has improved.
Agree Crawley is a good player. Very natural and fluid. Whenever I've seen him he plays well off his legs.Anybody see the dropped catches?
To be honest, I watched the highlights of the men's third test the other night, and I don't think there were any genuinely easy chances missed by England. And to be fair there was one fantastic catch taken by Carey.
What about this one?
Another thing. I don't get to see county cricket, ever, not living in England (and not having satellite). Crawley: that guy looks live a lovely stroke maker. Really classy way he seems to handle his bat. Very fluid. All looks very good until it doesn't. Why isn't he making fifties and hundreds for England? What can people tell me about him?
