Agree Crawley is a good player. Very natural and fluid. Whenever I've seen him he plays well off his legs.
For me, he seems to lack a bit of maturity at times and doesn't always recognise there are periods when you have to dig in for 20 mins and then start again.
As for women's cricket I've not seen a lot and the standard has jmproved but I think the media sometimes goes over the top about it

I'd disagree with regards to going over the top its an ashes series and each game has been very competitive, why shouldn't they get the coverage the men do

Turned out out to be 430 chase but the track improved as expected.

89 to win off 16 overs with 4 wickets left. New ball taken, it will be a miracle if we win.
 
De Grandhomme has been a disastrous signing. You just knew when he came in to bat he wouldn`t last long.

And sending out Blatherwick before Bailey and Williams is such a strange decision. They`ve basically given Essex the initiative by gifting them a free wicket.

A great game at Blackpool. Similar in many ways to the first two Ashes tests, where when on top Lancs couldn't finish Essex off and then didn't do enough with the bat. It was one hell of a chase with the amount of overs left - something just under 5 an over and very nearly got there but maybe needed to abandon the aim of winning earlier and try to stay in there. Essex are a good side though, they've closed the gap to Surrey over the past couple of games and there's a bit more of a "title race" going on now!

First defeat for Lancs but not many wins...pretty meh season so far.
 
Ronsinson says he is fit to play in the next test! Sorry with the injury he got in the game I wouldn’t pick him because a back spasm can come back again in the middle of the game! Drop him pick Anderson
 
West Indies so sad how bad they are now! No one watching be all over in second day! Whose that big lad playing for West Indies? Never seen someone so large playing test match cricket..
