The rain overnight here was torrential.Haven’t changed the side too much so that should stand Surrey in good stead, but there’s precious little action anywhere this morning.

Lancs suffer more rain days than any other team. Serves them right for being in Manchester. Can I be the first to congratulate Surrey on their title win and commiserations to Hampshire, who finished second.
I reckon Lancs would have had a decent shot at the title had it not been for the weather and Lyon going home in July.
Does it make it much more difficult for them to win a championship?Lancs suffer more rain days than any other team. Serves them right for being in Manchester.
David Lloyd was on Lancs TV this morning. Said they never turned up for pre-season until April 1st when he played. If I remember correctly when I was a lad the cricket season started aster the FA Cup Final……..better weather
Yet a veritable hotbed (a misnomer in Lancashire) of spinners.Lancs suffer more rain days than any other team. Serves them right for being in Manchester.
Yes, combined with a belter of a pitch. Make's it very difficult to force a win if any significant time is lost.Does it make it much more difficult for them to win a championship?
Cheers. I’ve dipped my toe in the water this year and have bought one of the lower tier memberships, which gives any 5 days of cricket across the season.Yes, combined with a belter of a pitch. Make's it very difficult to force a win if any significant time is lost.
If you look back over the many years when we finished second, you will see a lot of draws in our table.Does it make it much more difficult for them to win a championship?
Dismal .First collapse of the season for Lancs today…..
Not much chance of any play today, weather is awful in South Manchester.
