In Stretford it’s belting down?? from 2pm until late tonight seems constant rain it’s a draw it’s the hope that kills you but in this case there’s no hope

I had tics for yesterday and managed to watch the 30 overs. Felt that we should have done a bit better but I didn’t really understand why they wouldn’t let us use fast bowlers….the light looked fine to me

It was a bit ridiculous from the umpires. At a push they could have stopped Wood bowling but not the other seamers.

Brightened up a bit in the city centre. Fingers crossed it stays dry and the groundstaff can work their magic to get play underway at 11, then England will have to have a blinding session to get it done you feel.
