Bollocks. It's time they re-vamped the tests to add an additional day just in case, and for exactly this type of scenario. I'm sure they would do it for one day finals etc. Who the fuck is going to watch what is effectively a 'dead rubber' somewhere 'darn sarf'. Test cricket needs to keep up with the times....... otherwise for example football would be playing with fucking caseys and not showing live stuff at 3pm on Saturdays (if you live in the backwater that is Blighty). IMHO .It does but it’s test cricket, you are playing the opposition, the conditions of the weather, the pitch and the time period of five days of cricket. If it was the other way round we’d be loving the rain that has fallen over the last two days. Let’s hope they at least carry the momentum from this game and level the series.
