I see Alex Hartley is saying she's been cold shouldered by some of the touring England women's squad in Australia, because she dared to question the fitness of some of the squad. She's working for the BBC, and other networks, down there. Players, though, have refused interviews with her. Now it may well be true, and they've been abject so far; they've lost all four of their games so far. But I'm not sure what reaction she expected. If you question someone's application/fitness, they're hardly likely to be lovey-dovey with you. Especially when you played with some of them; they're likely to view such comments as a sort of betrayal.

I can see both sides in this and think it was probably a conversation to have at the end of the tour, rather than when they’ve just lost the tour and feelings are high.

There’s no doubt there’s truth in what Hartley said, but it seems mistimed.

She’s not played for England for 6 years, so that’s a long enough gap for them to have got used to Hartley the commentator.

Ecclestone looks quite a long way from peak fitness.

Seems it's been a jolly up for this woman's team should be all dropped

I dunno about that but I'm glad Isa Guha covers the men's teams and doesn't have to deal with that! She also is more "pleasing" to my ears!

Alex Hartley is not quite Melissa Reddy bad but her accent isn't the easiest to hear!

Good Lancashire accent on our Alex!

Isha seems to have modelled herself on Mark Nicholas, which is no bad thing. Relaxed, humorous and knowledgeable.

Isa Guha is also pleasing to the eye.
PS. My auto correct is ridic. It rendered Isa Guha as ‘Is a guyanese’

Only just realised this starts today. BBC aren't even doing commentary? And it's on BT why not sky?

No point watching anyway we're getting slapped.
