When you cut the finger and it becomes wide open and it's impossible to grip the ball, you can not use a plaster or tape. So it's all about the bleeding and the pain barrier, I would use super glue ? because when I had a cut on my thumb that needed a stitch really i put some over the cut job done
You can't use surgical glue on a cut as it's classed a a foreign substance and could affect the ball. That why Ali was fined 25% of his match fee yesterday as he was caught spaying antiseptic spray on his finger.

His only options are to wear a bandage or plaster on his finger which are legal but that would seriously affect him spinning the ball OR he just has to play though the pain barrier with nothing on it
 
If England don't collapse in the second innings and can get around 350-400 ahead by tea tomorrow, would Stokes be tempted to declare? Or perhaps bat on for another hour?
