Cricket Thread

So we're down to whether the pitch falls apart, whether India's bowlers can rattle through England, or whether England's batsmen can rack up 300 in not much more than a day. Anything else and it could be a very dull 5th day.

With about 150 overs left over the 2 days, if current progress is anything to go by.

It’s amazing the amount of players turning game keepers regarding the slow/missing overs issue, Broad in particular is a bit of a cheeky twat given that he was involved in this very set up till not long ago and never uttered a syllable about whilst he was playing.

Anyway scores level so innings shoot out it is
 
What ever lead we get we won’t bowl India out again in one day which is around 80 overs!

Now we bat for 2/3 overs bet they are bottling it Crawley and Ducket

Think the pitch will look totally different when India now come out to bowl there spinner to will spin it big

I really think that Atherton and Hussain should be going in on this much harder. Surely it would make a better viewing if they actually had a better rate of play. Not much point in the studio people saying anything as fewer people will be watching.

TMS have been going in two footed about it for the last three days, docking runs is the only way forward, no treatment on the field of play like football, and umpires need to grow a fucking backbone they are as much part of the problem as the players.

That's good to hear.

Even as simple a thing as England delaying the start and Crawley waving at the crowd - obviously we have no idea if someone was actually moving, but the umpires should just say it's 2 overs, get on with it.

Three balls, three minutes. 5 minutes since play should have started.
