It does India really shouldn’t be behind! We lose this though with our bowling options without stokes and Archer now bowling 82/85mph not looking good I’d expect us to get beat if India get a draw here! Our bowling options has been utter wank this summer

Stokes has only played 12 more tests than Botham. It’s unlikely Beefy would have scored the 1800 runs he’d need to join the 7k club in those 12 games.

I can just about remember Sobers playing against England; it must have been the 1974 tour, and he was well past his best then.

I remember my Dad telling me that he could bowl as a pace bowler, a swing bowler and as a spinner.

He must have been some bloody cricketer in his prime.

I remember Sobers being the best card in Top Trumps!

I saw something a day or so ago which said that no-one came close to him to entertainment.
20 fewer tests than Stokes, 1000 more runs (8032 at an average of 57!), roughly the same number of wickets at a slightly higher average.
Botham played fewer tests and got nearly 400 wickets.

Stokes can only dream of Sobers' batting figures.

The Sky commentary team are abysmal. From Gower, Holding, Bumble, Beefy and Willis, to this shower of shit. Ponting is easily the best and Athers offers insight. The rest are terrible.
TMS is far better.
