I think that's absolutely right. More importantly even than that: it gets people coming through the turnstiles. It gets them turning on their tvs and radios.

No they just need to get the balance right.

Baz Ball isn't trying to hit every ball for 6. There is room to dial it in and they tried that today, Stokes and Bairstow both clammed up, stopped scoring and tried to get through some time before lunch.

I don’t dislike it but I don’t like seeing joe root running down the wicket when he is well set. That has never been his game and I think it’s a detriment to the team for root to play that way

Yes ofc... I was refering to comments on day one, I completely get the way the team plays now and how they should on other continents , and to be fair for entertainment value I love it

I get that , Root imho is a complete batsman , but to be fair, he has changed his game further since the introduction of bazball , and has been doing fairly well , he actualy seems to enjoy it
