My hope is that the heaviest rain will be gone out of the area in the next hour and so a lot of the water will drain away even though the moderate drizzle is ongoing. They'll be taking lunch at 12:30 probably so whatever needs doing in the outfield. Do they still have that big cover at Edgbaston that they used to drag on?

I was there on Sunday :( and they had the hover cover over the pitch and then huge covers covering most of the infield. They were constantly soaking up all the water of the covers and once it stopped raining it took about 45 minutes to get the pitch ready for play.

Luckily we were towards the back of the Hollies stand so had some cover. It was so heavy that rain at times it would of been miserable stuck in that without cover.

That mightn't be the worst thing. A bit of cloud cover, maybe a bit of dampness in the pitch and humidity in the air.

Funnily enough I've had a little this morning at 11's (now 17/2)...there's not much to lose should either side win but it'll pay for a few in the pub tomorrow afternoon ..
