Letter of the law again. None of this is good for the game.
Precisely that. Not a huge cricket fan but like a bit of the Ashes. I've turned off after that, as no idea what the difference is between that and the ball before when it was thrown to a fielder who could have then stumped him.

It's gone from T20 and the Hundreds to exciting cricket in tests, to blokes in striped blazers debating the interpretation of the laws. No thanks

It's uncanny how these things come back to bite. Last night, the England commentators were laughing at McGrath and Ponting for the steam coming out their ears, and less than twenty-four hours later the roles are reversed.

Fuck the despicable Aussie cunts, I’m off to the real old Trafford to hopefully watch a more sporting affair. Aussies are the fags of cricket, NO FUCKING SHAME

Not really in the spirit, but Bairstow only got himself to blame, he switched off. Another wicket gifted to them ffs.
He'd done exactly the same "wander" the 2 balls before and Carey had thrown the ball to a fielder rendering it "dead", so he had every right to throw it at the stumps which he did it before Bairstow wandered off.

It’s the umpires fault.

He’s looking away and taking the bowlers cap off to give it back to him. So he thinks the over is done and the ball is dead. He’s supposed to call the over finished and the ball dead.

So I’m not having anyone claiming Bairstow is to blame.

So many amateur decisions and dubious tactics in both tests by England.
Will end 5-0 if this carries on.

It’s out.

How long do you stand there for? Till he calls over?

Ironic thing is that they constantly go on about slow over rates. Hasten the process up and get yourself out. Can't see it but hopefully a monumental siege mentality performance from Stokes now.

Careless from Bairstow but he can’t be the only batsman to do that. I wouldn’t be happy if England took a wicket like that but I suppose I’d take it!
England wouldn't claim one.... But they might in the next test.
