An outstanding debut season in 2017 saw Josh Tongue, then aged just 19, announce himself as one of the outstanding fast bowling prospects in English cricket. A nerve problem in his right shoulder, called thoracic outlet syndrome, required two surgeries and botox injections to rectify, and left him in a "really dark place". But a successful winter with England Lions in Sri Lanka placed him back on the radar, and paved the way for his call-up.

If Ned get 175 the target is 147 for Scotland to qualify, and for around every 25 more runs Ned get, Scotland can get one less and still win.England women have stopped their whitewash. Now time for the men to do the same.
Also good luck to Scotland tomorrow against the Netherlands who will qualify for the ODI World Cup if they win.
If Scotland make 175 Ned have to get it in 44.1 overs to qualify, and lose a ball to hit the target around every 25 runs the Scots score.
I can't see them messing up with that advantage, but it is a 50/50 game.
England will win the series 3-2.
Let win this test match first then we will see if settle for 2-2

Old Trafford is generally quick as well and with the time between tests it'll allow Wood to play in both.
