Exactly this, at times over the last few years he was our only ‘True’ test match player, certainly the only one who showed any pedigree, I don’t think the management or captain have tried to change him, it’s his desire to adapt & be like/better than others at Bazball, when all he has to do is maintain that 59 average

Yeah, he's the one player who doesn't really have to adapt to Bazball as his natural game is to score quite freely anyway. All he has to do is stick to what he's been doing this past decade or so.
 
Relying on Stokes again and hopefully a pissed off Bairstow can turn the anger into some runs because he certainly can't turn it into catches.

It’s the same as ‘player of the match’ rather than man of the match in men’s football. Changes for changes sake.
 
Just gonna watch Wimbledon today. Murray playing with more heart and desire with dodgy hips. If this team doesn’t care then why should we? Disgraceful
