Khawaja's the one. He's had a pretty good series. Looking a bit ominous. We get him tonight, and it really is game on.

Strangely fragile, yes.
They seem to get one big score 1 of them will get a big score, and they are doing - Khawaja, Smith, Marsh have the centuries, with a few 50s thrown in to make the score. Only Khawaja of the batsmen can be pleased with the series so far.

There's only been one innings total of more than 400 and this is the 11th innings. Normally, there will be something big.
Obviously England would probably also have got 400 at Edgbaston.

Absolutely did not expect England to be in this position this evening. Was getting worried that Khawaja was getting too settled in.

Apparently, Bairstow indulged in a spot of the cricket equivalent of Berting when Smith holed out, picked up by the stump mic.
He seemingly said "See ya Smudge", and Smith wasn't impressed by it.
