My point standing,to be the best you got to beat the best,currently India would do us,South Africa would,We be ok v Pakistan and New Zealand just,probs ok v West Indies and Bangladesh,I’m on about this team here right now,not who we have beaten in last three years.

Let’s face it and I sincerely hope we win this match and the series as highly doubtful it is,this team is more suited to baseball,and relies too much on two batsmen,and if they fail the team does,so in my book that’s shite and you know it

Yeah, we’ve lost 1 more wicket than I would’ve liked this morning but we’ve tended to score quite freely regardless. If we were scoring at 2 runs per over we might still have lost a few wickets but be a lot further adrift

My point still stand we have beaten all those sides you have mentioned recently in series so we have nothing to prove against them.

Australia like it or not are the best test team in the world and we are currently just falling short. It's frustrating because we are capable of beating them but silly mistakes are costing us.

The likelihood is that we will lose the series but there is absolutely no way The ECB will bin off McCullum or Stokes.

I said last year this new style of play will be a rollercoaster as some days we will look amazing and some days we will look shite. This series is a microcosm of that

I feel like it’s not as bad since Ali was one of them, kind of feels like we bat deeper with Bairstow still to come.

It’s weird and will take some getting used to,but have you ever seen Joe Root for example looking scared to death,and out of sorts,playing and missing,like I said it’s down to two men,he’s one of them and the captain is the other,who this team relies on so heavily.

Duckett was lucky not to be out last night,and that would of put a bit of a different perspective on todays play,but they’re scared to death of these cunts and I don’t get why

We start a 5 match series v India tomorrow with this squad we’ve got at present,who wins ?

Try a series v South Africa as well,who wins ?

You can even choose if they are home or away series,I’m keen to know your answer
