Pope has often been criticised in the media for the drop off in his scoring from the 1st innings to the 2nd innings, so that should shut them up. Well maybe…

Could collapse like in an hour in the morning though, as they are more than capable of that as we all know, and India will knock 150 off easily, but that's been good that last few hours today I agree

Yeah pope goes we probably end up with what I predicted India would chase 150/160! Pope stays in for the first session we will get around 200 will it be enough will depend on if India get nervous! After 40 overs it gets easier to bat and India will get 200 Easley if they don't lose 6 wicket for 80 runs or something!

England showed though what a lot on here didn't believe we had in us fight battle bottle..

It's important to understand the enormity of the task performing well in Indian conditions is for the England team AHT nailed it when he said he had made his peace with 5 0 , all we can truly expect is some fight , I feel were getting that

England won the first Test in 2021 so there is no need for pessimism. Some of England’s problems are rather self-inflicted, such as assimilating Foakes again after discarding him and fielding two inexperienced spinners, which, if you couple with Stokes’ strange field placement, bowling changes, and reckless reviewing, suggests there are still reasons to be confident; England also have Pope returning after a long layoff. If England gel and learn quickly, they can, as we have seen in this Test, make the series competitive.
