Well done Lancs Women. T20 Champions. Very professional in all three departments.
I like the spirit in the fielding, lots of communication and smiles.
(We’ll gloss over a terrible drop in the covers in over 13!). In the final yesterday they were unfazed by fast starts by Surrey with both bat and ball and gradually asserted control to run out convincing winners. Well done.

That drop reminded me off a charity game I went to as a kid. It was a club first 11 against the wags, all very light hearted and not in the slightest bit serious.

After dropping a catch even easier than the one spilled last night the captain of the men's team went onto the field and gave the lady fielder in question a bucket for any future catches that came her way, much to everyone's amusement.

Still below Hants in the 'One day cup' ;)

..........and for all the negativity about Lancs mens side, I'd put money on them beating Hants, the ultimate one man team...Kyle Abbott! Our batting is beyond woeful.

Ecclestone has only been back for a couple of game though.

Lancs men couldn't beat Hampshire women.

I do hope I’m adding 2+2 and making 5, and that she’s not being punished in some way by England for that nonsense re the player turned pundit Alex Hartley’s comments re the team’s fitness etc.
Regardless, at least it’s made her more available for Lancs.

I suppose we'll see later in the Summer but she's England's best bowler by a mile, it would be incredibly petty and counter productive if that was the case. Like you I have a feeling that might be the case though.
