Well fuck me sideways!
No white ball game offers as much as this test provided. This is why Test Match cricket is easily the best form of the sport.
Quite magnificent chase that well done lads.
You betcha!!All those criticising when India were flowing in the first innings. Test format cricket can’t be beat, it’s just brilliant at times.
Another famous Headingley win.
That's a fantastic win. I remember some gobshite on here questioning why India batted as long as they did yesterday evening, as England were never going to chase down 350+.
I’m sure that was yourself, anyway I didn’t think England would chase down 371, don’t think many on here did. That's a fantastic win. I remember some gobshite on here questioning why India batted as long as they did yesterday evening, as England were never going to chase down 350+.
You missed out Srinivasaraghavan Venkataraghavan.Mahatma Gandhi, Rabindranath Tagore, Jawaharlal Nehru, Vallabhbhai Patel, B.R. Ambedkar, Homi Bhabha,C.V. Raman, Satyajit Ray, A.R. When you're 430/3 in your first innings, you really shouldn't be losing the game. To only get 471 in that innings was hugely short; they must have been looking at 600. That allowed England back in the game. You have to say this England side has got some balls. India probably felt in pole position for four days but England just fought like tigers.
This India side is really good so the win is way up there with England’s best triumphs.
A great match and a fantastic win.
Whoosh!I’m sure that was yourself, anyway I didn’t think England would chase down 371, don’t think many on here did.
Michael Vaughan for one.All those criticising when India were flowing in the first innings. Test format cricket can’t be beat, it’s just brilliant at times.
