Come on stokes you mard arse they are flying ant or ladybirds not killer wasps!

Unless he was just waisting time till stumps

Cricket been played firm 11 till 6:30 and they going to be around 7 overs short! Why with weather like this they don’t bowl the 90 overs!?

painfully slow, but it seems quite common that tests in England top out at 85 overs a day.

I know there are various allowances, but I don't know what they are or why teams are allowed to get away with it.

Yep we in the shit looks like Stokes won’t bowl looking at him now! Like you posted Archer back in the test side hardly bowled long spells! Carse looked fucked last test match and had a problem with his feet!

Let’s hope we bat till tea tomorrow at least! At the current run rate over rate we be around 400!
Could be long spells for Bashir and Root

Really good day of Test Cricket. Some top quality bowling, matched by some solid batting. Disappointed that pope couldn't convert.

On a sour note, only bowling 83 overs is a disgrace, and that's not the first time they've been slow this series

Stokes Archer and Wood suffer so many injuries yet those Aussie cunts starc Cummins and hazelwood never seem to

Bret Lee could never stay fit tbf, nor Johnson, and Starc was actually known for always getting injured a bit like Wood, but he sorted it out as he approached 30.

I think we also just don’t pay attention to their injuries unless it’s the ashes. I know I’d never notice if all 3 of them missed a 5 test series vs India, Windies, Pakistan or South Africa - especially if it’s in Australia going on overnight.

Listened to Pope just now talking about it’s a pitch that you have to bat first, it’s a pitch that you feel your never in, the pitch is slow, the ball doing bits!

Now I’m certain there was a pitch last year or year before where I remember a England players saying the exact same thing as pope then got all out for around 320 then when the opposition got in the pitch looked totally different flat easy to bat on did nought and ended up losing it!

So anyone thinks 350 is good if we get anyway near that I’m waiting till we bowl on there and see how the pitch is on day 2 hopefully late in day two!

With the heatwave this weekend there’s a good chance this pitch is virtually unplayable by Day 5, India need to speed the game up or beat England with 1 innings.

The wicket looks like a minefield to bat on for a first-day test at Lords, I don't understand why we are producing wickets like this; the bounce is so uneven and tricky to time, Also, it will take spin and turning corners,

England needs 350 plus, and then bowl a good length and aim to hit the wickets, bringing LBW and clean bowled into the game with the dodgy bounce
