If England are still batting an hour after tea tomorrow and no overs have been lost to rain or bad light in the meantime, we’re looking at a lead of 500+, assuming we keep scoring at Bazball rates! So maybe declare an hour before tea if we’re still in? That way, the lead would be 400-ishIt’ll probably depend on time too, as disco pop suggests. 300 with 5 sessions to get them would be a gamble.
Maybe it’s bat until an hour after tea tomorrow and then go for it.
This is obviously ignoring the inevitable collapse!

True. But I think we’d all take 5 one-sided wins against the Aussies in an Ashes series though!This test could go either way now. Which is great. You want closely contested tests; let's be honest, the one at Lord's was a waste of time, and certainly wasn't value for not inconsiderable money for the punters.
