Maybe it’s bat until an hour after tea tomorrow and then go for it.

This is obviously ignoring the inevitable collapse!
If England are still batting an hour after tea tomorrow and no overs have been lost to rain or bad light in the meantime, we’re looking at a lead of 500+, assuming we keep scoring at Bazball rates! So maybe declare an hour before tea if we’re still in? That way, the lead would be 400-ish

Guess it depends on how much faith Stokes has in our bowlers as to how much time he thinks we might need.

I guess once we go over 300 ahead, we’ll start boshing it around, so we could have 500 before tea!

350 seems to be the mythical figure for 4th innings chases. It's only been done 13 times in the history of test cricket.
