I know we can’t say definitively, but I very much doubt that there will ever be another test match like Headingley '81.

It’s still the only instance of a team winning a test match, after following on in this country.

Headingly 81 was indeed a miracle. Unfortunately I couldn't watch it on TV as I wzx on an exchange trip in France.
But I do think the Laxman inspired comeback win for India against the all conquering Aussies in the early 2000's was very similar

Well done to Stokes. Just the fourth Englishman to take a Michelle and score a century in the same test (Atkinson, Greig and Botham). I sort of expected that to be a bit higher than that. Guess it shows just how remarkable an achievement it is.

I think Stokes is quite happy to take a risk. That’s what winners do. For me, Stokes is a great skipper.

That wasn't a risk just a terrible decision, lost with a session to spare needing 2 runs to win after he had forfeit two wickets due to complacency.

I suppose as a New Zealander, he gave his birth side the greatest ever test comeback victory, but it isn't played as much as the 1981 test some how :)

My guess is that it’ll be a decision made on time left, rather than a specific figure.

Could well be milk the runs until 12:15 and then tee off and either be all out or declare to have 4 or 5 overs before lunch.
