Seems a bit weird that none of the 100 franchises picked Liam Dawson.
MO would be better with him than Tom Hartley.
I must have dreamt watching him play at Cardiff a few weeks ago then...
He plays for London Spirit aka fake Middlesex

Ah okay. Did think it was odd. He’s playing for Hampshire today. Guess LS have been knocked out.I must have dreamt watching him play at Cardiff a few weeks ago then...

Impressive Century in the Crisp Cricket.
Those boundaries are very short in the women's game, aren't they?
The fiedling restrictions are 25 yards for women and 30 yards for men, and after the power play only 4 players can go outside that area in the womens' game compared to 5 in the mens'.It's a tricky one and something I'm divided on. My first thought is that the boundaries should be the same as the men's and that the smaller boundaries cheapens their sixes (although some of those today were straight into the stands anyway). And to me more sixes doesn't mean more entertaining game.
On the flip side I worry if the boundaries were set to the same as the men's that you'd see a lot of the women holing out to the boundary riders. Because basically because they're not as strong as the men and can't sort of fluke a six like the men can. It's got to be middled for them to hit a six into the stands. So you might see the women playing in themselves more and there almost being too few boundaries to the point where it's noticeable.
Gets us used to what is to come over the winter.England crumbling at Headingley.
sad end to a traditional setting
Sacrilege I think. Oddly enough Swansea CC dont seem bothered at all. They are merging with a local club round the corner and are pleased about all the expanded talent pool it will give them and more sides. Work has been ongoing for ages on the new square there and there are big plans for a clubhouse. A lot of their 1st XL fucked off this season and they got relegated but view it as short term pain.
Thriving mate. Very healthy cricket scene hereI know Welsh Rugby is almost catastrophically ruined - do you know what the financial situation is in Welsh Cricket? I mean I know its the E&W CB but are they struggling at a local level?
