This just isn’t cricket……is it?Just had a quick look. He made 55 in India in February in a T20 and one fifty in the crisp cricket for MO.
Not at his best.

Out to the same shot every time. When was the last time Salt played a good innings?
I'm getting the train into Birmingham NS tomorrow, what's the best way to get to Edgbaston from there?
Cheers, I guess I'm more worried about the return as I'm booked onto the last train home. I'm assuming these buses get packed? Is it walkable if worse comes to worse? There's a bus that takes about 10 minutes from New Street and drops you off 2 minutes walk from the stadium. I think it's the 61.

It's not far to walk to both University and Five Ways railway stations which have frequent trains to New Street.
Don't be tempted to catch the tram to Edgbaston Village, as despite the name, it's nowhere near the cricket ground.

To be fair, if it is 2.7km as @MillionMilesAway points out, then it can't be much further than walking back to Piccadilly from the Etihad (Which I do frequently).I think the walk would be 30 mins+ so you'll want to get a bus. The ground usually puts on shuttle buses and they're timed to work with the train departures so I think you'll be OK between them and the public bus (61)
There’s always a possibility you might be able to come home earlier of course depending how the semi goes …Cheers, I guess I'm more worried about the return as I'm booked onto the last train home. I'm assuming these buses get packed? Is it walkable if worse comes to worse?
The team looks to have lost 3 more players since Saturday but the squad isn't out yet.
At least 4 buses go down the A38/Bristol Road (45,47,61,63) and the match day shuttle bus outside TK Maxx. After the game 6 an hour back on Bristol Rd, so could go south a stop to make sure you get on, but could walk half way back by time you are on.
The mayor problem is the lack of players available.
Even if Lancs lose in the Semi I'll probably stick around anyway, fingers crossed for no rain however. There’s always a possibility you might be able to come home earlier of course depending how the semi goes …
Looks dry for Lancs and the final but rain for the second semi.
Not sure what time your last train is, but there’s a possibility crowd leaving may have thinned out a bit by then.
Last time I was there we walked to the main road A34 I think and jumped on a bus.
An uber another cheap option, sure there’ll be loads about on a Saturday evening.
Nice one pal. I’m driving down, so no doubt stuck in an eternal traffic jam afterwards!Even if Lancs lose in the Semi I'll probably stick around anyway, fingers crossed for no rain however.
The last train is 22:30, I think I should be fine most likely.
Sounds like the buses are very frequent from what everyone is saying, so it may be a good option as you say to just walk up the road and try and flag one down if I see one

Cheers for the help mate, I'll have a proper look when I'm home from workThe 61 is every 15 minutes at that time.
I'm pretty certain that 45/47 go up Pershore Road (the one right next to the ground) but there's probably a bit of a walk to New St at the other end (I used to live just off Pershore Rd).
61/63 are on the A38/Bristol Road.
Definitely was….!That smacked of making sure they didn't have to give full refunds.
A farcical game.
Good tempting of fate. When was the last time Salt played a good innings?
