Well that was all a bit lame. All turned on Livingstone and Jennings staying in. Which they didn’t.
Our fielding cost at least 10 runs too, whereas they were faultless.

Right from the start of the comp we knew the score for finals day, that is the big issue, you know it is likely to be your worst team in the final.
Players not good enough at the group stage getting a debut on finals day, it is in one block with final 18th July next year, and Green may be able to play the knockouts, however and England ODI v India the day after, one a few days before, means there will be similar issues.
The days of Loye and Law guaranteed to play with a Hodge, Symonds or Hooper are a long time ago. What is the "Point" if you are no longer competitive.

Geoffrey is spot on about Tuffers and batting and for me Tuffers being the clown and making the “Batting expert” ruins it for me! Tuffers was a good spinner for England but anything else in the team utter useless!

Like Tuffers said, Bowlers are not in the team for making runs, Bowlers getting runs are a bonus for the team
