The game is gone but feels like this is a really important innings for Brook. He has to not throw away his wicket. If he gets an unplayable delivery, fine, but he can’t keep getting out cheaply throwing his bat at everything.

The problem is they both could theoretically get centuries and bring the game back, particularly if one went big.

But there’s really no reason to think they WILL do that based on recent performances.
 
Interesting that they've been saying for the past couple of years that everything is focused on preparing for this tour. And then we've gone down there and basically gone ah whatever, let's just play it by ear and see what happens
 
Yeah this is over, asking Stokes to produce pissing miracles again.

Some of the batting order need to take a look at themselves, getting out-batted by Mitchell Starc ffs.

Yep maybe stop thinking like that and just say we ain’t preparing for any test match in the future only the next one when one has ended!

What gets me is the pitches have changed anyone who been watching last few years knows that and we prepared with tall fast bowlers! The Aussies have 2/3 bowlers who are fucking medium pace taking wickets!

Is it the bowlers or just the fact that the English batsmen just hand their wickets to the Aussies over and over again.
