Hugh Morris, former ECB chief executive, has passed away, aged 62,after a battle with bowel cancer.
We’d have sauntered to victory in the last test if we’d caught just three of the dropped chances. They were worth 170 runs and we lost by less than half that.If we could match the Aussies fielding / catching there wouldn’t be a lot of difference between the teams. Especially, now more of our players are getting a bit of a better understanding of Aussie pitches.
Missed it was gardener in tears like Smith was when caught trying to cheat
the groundsman trying to explain why out of nowhere (yeah right) he decided to leave longer grass on wicket. its cost them millions in lost revenueWhat's this about?
It isn't cheating just ill advised and they are insured.the groundsman trying to explain why out of nowhere (yeah right) he decided to leave longer grass on wicket. its cost them millions in lost revenue

The 2 day first test wicket got little grief but people are very excited about the four day one.
They would have 20k stadia for cricket like us if not used for 5 sports, all others churning up the pitch. Why the hell are drop-in wickets allowed in test cricket. I don't think in england we have any that are used for test matches
