Cricklewood Attack

Nah, they have a history of reporting before the fact...

You do realise they use stock photos or, in reports like the one above, pre-recorded footage behind them when they’re reporting? So when it says our ‘Washington correspondent’ and there’s a guy sat down in front of an amazing view of the White House that he’s not actually sat in front of the White House.

Or maybe it just is that western society is becoming more extreme in its politics?

I wouldn’t say the expectation that British Muslims should be treated the same as non-Muslim Britons when they’re the victim of a crime is extreme. Each to their own though.

I never said that either, did I? I specifically said I hope the scumbag is locked up for a long time, you know, similarly to if it was the other way around, which he probably will be.

I’m saying the far left, who always engage with identity politics, jump to conclusions on everything of this nature.

The whole point is there hasn’t been a difference in treatment and the OP asked why the BBC didn’t publish the story, which they did/have.

That’s very true but the tower still fell after they reported it did. I’m not saying anything about a conspiracy here just stating what happened.

You called the people who held an expectation that the incidents should be treated equally by the state and by the media the ‘far left’. That seems to be your default response to everything though, doesn’t it? The only way that view can be far left is if you consider Joseph Goebbels to be the centre ground which would explain a lot.

Back in the 60’s any murder made front page news as it was an infrequent crime. Murder is now so common it doesn’t always make the inside pages. Perhaps this story is too small to make the BBC headlines, there are many hate crimes committed every year, not all of them make National news.

No, I didn’t, you’re putting words into my post that don’t belong there.

I’ve just explained to you that the far left scream injustice when there isn’t any, NOT that having the view of equal treatment is far left, that’s ridiculous.

You can continue to claim I have called those who expect equal treatment as far left, I’m not, I haven’t, I’ve called those who claim there isn’t equal treatment when they either have no evidence to suggest this or that they haven’t even seen the evidence that’s there, as being far left.

You must have missed about 60% of my posts on this forum where I’m arguing against UKIP or far right views, I criticise them and their views towards leaving the EU more than the far left when it comes to their insufferable crusade to make everything about oppression of minorities.

Basically you’re entirely ignorant of the point I’ve made and other points I’ve made on this forum.

OK so it’s just extreme if you don’t provide evidence for the claim that people aren’t treated the same? Which the OP actually did when he made reference to the fact that this story wasn’t as prominent as it would be if the victims were non-Muslim. Thanks for clarifying. I don’t think you’d know the meaning of far-left or extreme if it hit you in the face.
