You do realise they use stock photos or, in reports like the one above, pre-recorded footage behind them when they’re reporting? So when it says our ‘Washington correspondent’ and there’s a guy sat down in front of an amazing view of the White House that he’s not actually sat in front of the White House.
Yes I do, no doubt having LIVE captions on the report for some reason was misleading, but I think the allegation was based on the report being made 20 mins before the event, obviously the technology has improved because according to the CCTV from Cricklewood they can managed a whole 24 hours now.
Hardly a shock that a live reporter in the middle of a load of chaos got some details wrong. The fact that the building then did collapse is nothing more than coincidence
Its a bit hard to call it some details when that was the story.
Of course this could always have been a flippant comment in the first place and went right over your heads ;0)
