It was European player of the year award not the Ballon D'or. That award has its own event, not an extra at a competition group stage draw.

He's got every right to sulk and be pissed off, he was the best player in Europe last season.

Im not sure I still think Messi was a far better player last year, im sure Ronaldo will win it because Real Madrid won the title but I still feel Messi was better than ever last season

He has a chance to join us but in another year or two the boat will have passed he will be too old for us to consider so if he says no now we won't be coming back for a 30 year old throwing money at him no matter how good. It's his choice if he wants to stay in Spain playing second fiddle to Messi or join the best league in the world and be a legend helping us win our first Champion's League trophy making history with our fans who are not so spoilt like the ones in Madrid..

If you had taken out Ronaldo's goals last season, Real Madrid still would have won the league..... if you had taken out Messi's goals, Barcelona would have finished 6th.
