I'd never claim to be ITK, but i do know for certain that he's bought property in London in the last year and has been spending time there of late. He's been spotted quite a few times driving around.

Course, this doesn't mean he's signing for Chelsea, and to a certain extent i think he's suffered a bit under Mourinho and might want a Jose-free season at Madrid so he's remembered fondly by the fans, but realistically there are only three sides in world football who could and would pay what he'd cost - Chelsea (who have earned around £100m from their European runs), PSG and Monaco.

If he does leave Madrid, which due to his contract stand-off isn't unlikely, Chelsea would be his most likely destination. That's not 'a call', by me or anyone else, it's just pretty obvious and has already been covered in depth by the newspapers. They simply tick the most boxes - transfer fee, salary, competitive domestically and in Europe, the best manager, the strongest squad, the best city to live (so far as England goes, if you've got a few quid, etc, etc).

I cam really see this transfer happening this summer, it will be a shock.

This is never going to happen.

Chelsea are going to have to pay 100m and 300k a week wages, Roman can do that no doubt but I honestly don't see Ronaldo moving from Madrid at the moment.

I can't see Ronaldo wanting to work with Mourinho again

He looked friendly with him before the game yesterday trying to get him to go out to the fans.

Well he definitely would be an improvement over our left wing. Scott Sinclair or Cristiano anyone?

But yeh, its unrealistic. Too much transfer fee and he's probably just passed his peak - by a couple of weeks to be exact :P

I seriously doubt Chelsea can afford to spunk 70> Million on Ronaldo which is what it will cost and then his wages will be mental. With Madrid potentially spending (a lot of) money on Bale, I wouldn't be surprised if they wanted to get some of that money back through Ronaldo. United cannot afford him and who else is there? We are the only alternative but out of respect to United I don't think Ronaldo would ever consider us. For me he'll peak out at Madrid and then look to make a money move to someone like Monaco/PSG and then head back to the swamp on the cheap.
