Cristiano Ronaldo

Would be interesting to know the relationship ronaldo and pellegrini had at madrid....

From my understaning (Google) that it was quite solid. I think Pellegrini was and is the only coach that treated Ronaldo like a player as oppose to the god that Mourinho and Fergie kept happy.

In a heartbeat. Anyone that says no is mad. Game winner, Title clincher.

Completely agree.

Anyone who doesn't want him, ask yourselves - would you rather see Ronaldo in a City shirt or Gollum and Camel lip lifting the Prem trophy next year? Should be a pretty easy answer I reckon.

A United fan last night said some sponsors (Chevrolet?) were looking to pay part of his income direct as part of the deal?

I assume our team is exploring similar FFP sidesteps.

One way round these fair play rules is to just pay no attention to them and go out and buy the likes of Ronaldo. No chance Uefa banning a team that has some of the best players in the world. How will Uefa explain to their sponsors that Ronaldo would not be playing in the t B ournament this year as his club had been banned because they had the audacity to buy him?

-- Wed May 15, 2013 3:29 pm --

One way round these fair play rules is to just pay no attention to them and go out and buy the likes of Ronaldo. Wishful thinking and very difficult to pull off but Kun - probably going next year £45M and Silva - always wanted by Madrid and not as good as he was £30M; with Isco coming in and Nasri still here I would bite your hand off for a straight swap.

RAG who told me about Rooney stated they have agreed a fee of £62.5m with Madrid for him to return, but this was agreed prior to Fergie leaving.

A blue who told me about Mancini going weeks ago and about Moyes signed on for RAGs claims Ronaldo to City is on because Nike want a face for the new kit deal with us.

IMO now Fergie as gone and because of his RAG connections he will end up either staying in Madrid or going PSG.

I think his shirt sales and sponsorship would cover his transfer fee so they can stick FFP up their arses, I'd have him in a heartbeat his is one of the top 2 players in the world and Messi ain't going anywhere
