Just heard an interesting bit of news which might back this up. Gill and Ferguson had done the deal for Ronaldo before Xmas. £100m cash. He moved the tenants out of his house in Alderley Edge ready to return but in April, the Glazers decided it wasn't on and they would only spend £30m. That's why Baconface walked.

As much as I love Sergio, him plus £20m would be an astonishingly good deal.

From a purely football perspective he would without any doubt strengthen us and make us favourites to win the league!
Just not sure how happy I'd be to lose aguero over this! Much prefer the 2 together , then we'd piss the league!
