In which case you can sail a barge through FFP as Etihad could pay all our wages. Non story.

It's a miles better site than this shite.
Then kindly fuck off then you ungrateful ****.

Do you know the amount of work Ric puts into this place for very little so that you can make inane posts that the one I quote?

And you say this site is shite the day he releases a new version after months of work to improve usability and aesthetics? If I was him I'd just ban you.

Behave the site set up is archaic, read it for more that ten minutes and you're likely to get a migraine.
This place was set up like this in the early days when I used to lurk rather than post and this place has evolved while the vibe has stayed the same, which is to be fair how vibers like it, a group who sneer at other city forums while all sat there in a circle jerk how much more intelligent and adult they are.(and I know and are mates with a few vibers who are good mates but admit the vibe is good cause it's pretty much a smaller site as it means you get a better conversation in their opinion, give me a nonsensical cellar thread any day)

As for the tranny rumour would rather keep sergio

Haha! Reading what I typed, I do sound a bit of a twat don't I?! What I meant was there's a lot of shit on here nowadays that you sometimes have to trawl through before getting to anything decent. The Vibe's layout is 'old fashioned' but it works and you can scroll down seeing everything straight away. The posters on there are generally cynical, miserable old gits and I suppose that's me too. I understand that Ric puts in a lot of time and effort in to this place and does a great job.

The best Analogy I heard about the 2 sites from my mate Vegas who goes on the vibe is that if city forums were a pub BM would be the lounge/public bar with a mixture of drinkers and light entertainment on at times, while the vibe is the snug for those who preferred not to be seen in the public bar. but wanted quite conversation away from youthful chattering. To be honest all the vibers I have met are top blokes and could be worse it could be mancityfans.net

The guy who wrote the story for the Daily Star about Ronaldo to the rags deal being close has hilariously been rumbled.

Some Utd fan with absolute no contacts whatsoever has DM'd the guy on Twitter and told him about Ronaldo signing and fed him some bullshit then waited until the guy printed the story in todays papers and then put all the pictures online of their conversation and admitted he made it up to prove what the media are like in this country.

Honestly the first clue was Daily Star having a world wide exclusive but you know, it's nice to be sure.

His twitter is @joetaylor84 for anyone who wants a good laugh

So the Blue vibe story is

Bale ---> Madrid £100m
Aguero + £50m -----> Madrid
Ronaldo ------> City

I laughed at first, but the more you look at it the more it makes sense to absolutely everyone concerned.

Madrid. - Need a striker desperately and Aguero would probably be their no1 target.
Ronaldo is 28 and they've sold as much merchandise as they can and need a new blue eyed boy (Aguero). He won't sign a new contract so they need to cash in rather than pay him £20m pa.

Bale - No brainer, stupid to turn down a move to RM especially when he's going to replace Ronaldo. The type of move that dreams are made of.

Aguero - Gets to go back to spain to play for the biggest team in the world, gets a pay rise and lives next door to his young son who he adores.

Spurs - Can't turn down £100m and will reinvest a lot in new players and new stadium. They have already bought well this window and 2 or 3 more quality signings will lift them above Arsenal and make them serious contenders.

City - Get the 2nd best player in the world and guarantee (i know there is no such thing) themselves the premier league trophy and stick a big 2 fingers up at Moyes, Fergie and co. This costs them net £50m which will be recouped in a very short time as the Ronaldo hysteria hits City. Also ( more importantly ) raises Citys profile around the world.

Nike - There main football investment moves to a club they have just taken on and can once again promote Ronaldo - Nike relationship rather than seeing him wearing all that Adidas gear.

Ronaldo - Now this is the only one I'm struggling with a bit. Perhaps you can help me out? why would he wat to move to ickle City? Money? Money from Nike? New Challenge? To stick one up the Rags? Not sure. Any other ideas?

If he feels Bale is Madrids new golden boy and he now has the prospect of Messi and Neymar being bigger than him in la liga maybe he will want to come back and be the biggest fish in the premier league pond and if we match his wages, and the rags can't then I think his ego will overlook his rag days for the here and now, if this is true I would expect the rags to flog spud head pronto to free up the wages to try and gazump us

This has gone way beyond funny now. Sneijder and Nike, Ronaldo and Nike, now General Motors are getting involved? Bollocks rarely comes in a purer form. I'm going to knock up a rag transfer generator. Pick a player way above their pay grade, pick one of their sponsors who's going to pay the wages, add in 'Snubbed City' and 'boyhood club' and Bobs your uncle.

Re: Ronaldo, apparently he did like Pellegrini, despite his short stint there. Regardless, it's still a no goer. We're getting Messi next summer.
