Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano isn’t the first thing in Pep’s mind.

A player beloved in the dressing room has been arrested.

This isn’t easy to deal with. Stop overreacting and reading too much into his facial expressions
Yup. Mendy and the small matter of a game at the weekend.

Transfers are probably the last thing on his mind right now, unless it's a new left back.

The flapping on here is amazing.

Ronaldo isn’t moving for one last pay cheque. He’s moving to keep competing at the highest level, to keep winning things for as long as he can.

If you want to join a winning team and remain in contention for personal accolades and honours, then you quite obviously don’t go to United. A non-starter.
You might . . . if you don't have the option to go to City.

Trying not to read too much into the press conference, Pep's probably had the strangest few days of his managerial career so doing the media stuff was probably the last thing he wanted

What's your take on all this Tolm? Looks like we're still far away from any agreement with Juve, and the rags would definitely take this opportunity to get him even if it doesn't make sense

Have no inside track. Pep saying there are still three or four days confirmed that a striker is a possibility still.

On the other hand, that may also be him managing expectation if he knows in the immediacy Ronaldo is making the decision and not Mendes.

An offer from United would surely trump us, if indeed they have made him one.

It doesn't sound cut and dried like a lot of media commentators and people on here have been saying.

Mendes holds all the cards here. and is he cleverly playing united interest and fear against us and Citys interest against United. could as well depend on agent fee too.
Unless he follows this forum, Ferdinand or Talksport he's probably oblivious to uniteds interest
