City have yet to table a formal bid but it is understood that they are expected to submit one in the coming hours after Ronaldo said he wanted to leave Serie A and will not be available for their match against Empoli on Saturday.

Never understand this ' set to make a bid', how does the bid arrive, why does it take an age etc?. Does the selling club actually brace themselves for a bid? All very odd

Kev, Grealish and Foden in particular are the kind of lads who will probably be buzzing their tits off.

Ruben is a future leader but still young, he could learn a lot from Ronaldo.

Ferna is the wise old lion, he’s seen and done enough and has risen to a new spiritual plane that transcends dressing room politics.
Agree with all of that except the bit about Ruban

He is the sort of person who will take control...no matter who is in front of him....regardless of Ronaldo's (or anyone elses status), Dias is a player who takes charge....he is a born leader like Vinnie Kompany

Calciomercato
In any case, this could be a really decisive day for Ronaldo's future. Mendes wanted to close in a couple of days, the deadline will expire shortly and Juve is expecting the official offer from City. The minimum accepted is 25 million.

I wonder what salary we have offered?
He wants the glory ,not the money.

Probably he could go to the MLS for telephone numbers a week, he rates himself better than that.

One last crack at the best league in the world, playing for the best club in it and in sky blue.
