To be fair, in what world could the semi-finalists and finalists of the last two World Cups be considered dark horses?

I thought it might be a tournament too far for the likes of Modric, tbh. But you never know. They can easily still win this and it's harder to not go through than go through in this tournament.

In a world where England have also been in the latter stages of tournaments but we know they will never actually win one?!

Some poor decision making in the final third from Albania. On another day, they would’ve been far ahead but Croatia kept at it.

Could’ve also scored earlier to make it 2-1 but their pressure has caused Albania problems. The subs have helped but my question is why are those players not playing?

Didn't see the first half but kovacic has been fantastic second half. Modric is holding them back, he's too old
