1. I've always thought that Pep is a bit crackers - in a good way football-wise obviously. I doubt that even he would be crackers enough to take on that particular poisoned chalice.
2. Pep likes to actually work with players on a daily basis. That way, they actually learn. He would need his squad to be available to him, not their clubs.
3. The FA wouldn’t want to (or couldn't afford to) pay him the annual salary that would tempt him to do the job.
I've said before; I honestly think that the only national team challenge he would want to take on is Holland.
