The people who've said Lescott would be an improvement on Ned mustn't of seen the final yesterday, the aspect of Lescott's game which everyone likes to big up is his ability to head a ball - he was totally at fault for Drogbas goal! His leap was piss poor, I'd have Ned over him any day. I would however have him instead of Dunne.

Lescott is a fine player and can play at centre half and left back.Don't underestimate him just because he doesn't play for Barca.He'd be a great signing.

Agreed. Wouldn't mind him at City at all, although he did get creamed by Drogba for the Chelsea equalizer this afternoon!

And for closing down Lampard for the second, but I would like to see us sign him, a left footed centre half, which we haven't had since Distan left us!
