Yeah, I saw the whole 'celebration' thing. Not sure what to make of it. They could just be celebrating the moment of history and finally getting to the last day. I don't think it's as presumptious as 'thinking their man has got it' as has been suggested. I don't know, though.

I would certainly hope not.

Agreed.

I'll be up all night watching it.

The whole election is so similar to the West Wing tv show it's scary. They had Leo McGarry die in the West Wing during the last day of the election, and during the real one Obama's gran has died god bless her soul. Freaky stuff!

theres been a few parallels i agree.

The writers based Matt Santos on Obama i believe.

You should b able to tell fairly soon whether or not its even a race-pardon the pun. McCain has to run the table in a lot of states to even have a sniff. If McCain loses any of the following its all over: Ohio, North Carolina, Florida, Virginia, Indiana, ARIZONA FFS (remember 8 years ago had Gore won his home state on Tennessee he would have won), New Mexico. McCain has to run the table if not it will be Pres Elect Obama.

Now, another huge thing to watch is whether the Dems gain enough seats in the Senate to get a 60 majority. This is called a filibuster proof majority or super majority. The bottom line is it will make Obama's job (if elected) a hell of a lot easier. BTW this was something Bush never had during his administration.

When is it happening, the results are announced i mean? I want to stay up and watch this.
