Great result on the back of a midweek Bernabeu trip. Thought the ref was a ****- the commentators every bit as anti- City as per usual. All in all they are starting to hurt again Blues.

At this time of year, the result is more important than the performance and its job done.

There are major issues with our midfield and I would hope we are going to try and solve those on the 1st January. It could be the difference between winning the title and not.

The first half showed what a nervy tie this can be. We were more assured in the second, with Foden’s goal removing any momentum Palace could build. This, despite a few of our players having poor games relative to their potential. We’ll all take that.

Roll on the hammers next weekend.

That match day thread is bonkers. I only go on it now when we’re winning comfortably and a lot of posters still give our players shit!

Big up to Matheus Nunes, from being a total outcast to our starting RB. Defending brilliant today and his crossing is underrated.

He might have been shit tbh, didn't see enough to make a judgement.
Just found it amusing how different perceptions can be.

Fucking huge win though. Even not firing on all cylinders and obviously nowhere near our best yet but results like this are ominous for the rest of the league.

Great result!

We were under the cosh for ¾ of the game, Palace had a number of chances to go 1-0 up and to make it 1-1… yet we won 0-3.

We looked tired today, and a few of our lads didn’t have good games, but Gvardiol, O’Reilly and especially Nunes played very well, and we took our goals well.

Oh and fuck off Henderson you cheating Rag ****!

That is the worst match report ive ever seen, do you work for sky? They had about 10 mins pressure and one good chance which may have been offside, apart from that we played a completely controlled game, the only bit which is correct is that gvardiol, nunes and o'reilly had good games and henderson can fuck off.
