Aguero for the world class finish. How important that was.
Mendy ran him very close, great going forward today.
Raheem, worked hard and was unlucky on a couple of occasions; and sloppy on others.
 
Aguero for me, but Ferno so close - Torres also really grew into the game and what a brilliant finish. Overall I think we easily deserved to win the game, and we didn't have to play our top players, and with Ferno getting a bit of a rest all in all a good day! - 3 points to go, C'mon you Blues!!
 
Fern was Fern. Sergio finished like only Sergio can. Laporte and Ake solid but want to give Torres some love. Worked hard and tracked back and got better as the game went on and combined with a great finish was my motm. People have to remember it's his first season and he's a young man in a foreign country. This must be one of the hardest teams to force his way into in the world so he deserves some leeway. The potential is definitely there
 
I see so many negative comments about Mendy here, he does look clumsy but he is a much better player than some give him credit for. He played well today. Ake might not be very tall for a centre-back, but he is rarely at fault and a solid defender, definitely a good signing last summer. Torres was a curate’s egg today, genius and inexperience in equal measure, but give him another season or two and he would have had a hat-trick and a record number of assists. Fenrnandinho might have earned another year on his contract, he is nearing the end of his career but he would be a useful squad backup next season. When you think the media talk was about an ageing squad two seasons ago, we know Kun will go, maybe Fernandinho too this summer, but generally we have a young squad and a couple of astute signings could make for a fruitful few years ahead.
 
Sergio. I knew he had another thirty goals in him, and some other fuckin' team is gonna get 25 of 'em.

The main thing about Sergio is that he's never been a full-on 90mins player. He might keep a CB and back four, or in Burnley's case a back six or seven, busy for ninety mins with sheer mental effort on their part, but the second he comes alive he's like a rattler. Strikes from nowhere and often with next to nothing.

Several contenders. I went for Fernandinho, but Sergio was absolute quality, Ake played well, Torres had his best game in a City shirt and even dear old Benjamin had several good moments. Once again Pep knew better than me.....!
 
Fernandinho he is just always reading the game well on the front foot clearing up the breaks we won’t see another player of his type in that position in this city side again! Like Yaya we will replace him with a different type of player..

Kuns goal was a thing of precious beauty. Everything about it. First touch, movement and the shot, hit with the front of his foot so purely. Just magical.
I thought he played really really well second half and he must be an option off the bench on Tuesday.
