It’s irrelevant. We don’t counter attack!Did you notice at the end we had a break on then the coont blew the final whistle.

We don't have a midfield.Just a question. A real question, because I haven't been able to see the match yet. Is there not at least a possibility that Rico got the yellow for dissent? Because if that's so, he should have been canny enough to keep his mouth shut, especially if he'd already been warned about it by the ref. I'm just asking…
In any case, there is no guarantee that with Rico still on the pitch we would have taken the three points. Yes, momentum was apparently with us. A thousand times, I've seen momentum with a team in the last ten minutes, them wearing out the woodwork — post, bar, everything, complete sitters missed etc. — and not taking all the points.
The real questions, the truly disturbing ones, are: why over and over and over, are we conceding first, and that to a team on their very first attack, let alone shot? Why are we conceding so many goals in general (we've conceded 21, the rags — the fucking rags! who are in fact shite, Amorim has almost said as much in more diplomatic words — have conceded 16)? And why are we relying in the first place on someone playing at full back to save a point for us, and another, Gvardiol, to take three points for us? In other words, where have all the goals from midfield gone, unless Kev's around to do the business?
It's hard to finish in the top four in this league. Also it gets us into CL, which we need to do to attract the top players. It would a huge achievement this year considering this awful start to the season with so many injuries.Laugh all you want but i'd rather we didn't turn into Wengers latter Arsenal days.
Of course, i didn't mean i'd walk away if we didn't win the title, i just meant i don't see why sides celebrate coming 2nd, 3rd or 4th.
I have no problem with not winning trophies, it happens, i just wouldn't celebrate finishing 2nd, 3rd or 4th
Trouble is most of the top players are in teams playing in CL and won't be allowed to leave their clubs until the summer. That’s what I mean. We’d be more prudent to buy in Jan and bed them in for next season than to wait until summer.
You're quite the prick. Fuck off back to Chelsea.Gundogun is the worst player I've seen in the pep era. Pep's first signing and Pep's worst signing. Can't wait for him to be shipped to China.
IMO, Akanji is only good or even excellent when the strong strong defensive players are around him. In the two years he has peak Dias, Ale, Walker, Rodri around him. And Gvadol was a good defender too. He only had to show his advantages in header speed etc but not the real game mindset. Rico Lewis was the golden boy last season and nailed his position in starting 11 when the team was with the proper back-bone players and you can say he won silverware’s as evidence too. Now he is shite. If Bobb was fit, he will be shite too because they were never really given individual exams before. All the silverware Akanji has won in his two and a half years with City says he is top class , him and Ruben make a huge difference as Ruben is a leader and our defensive kingpin .
Like Newcastle v Dippers, it’s a strange trend from the budding Clive ThomasesDid you notice at the end we had a break on then the coont blew the final whistle.
I think the club think we will piss the National league North with what we’ve gotThis team needs some 400 million worth of new talent to compete with the new set of challengers - Liverpool Arsenal and then Chelsea
And I say this with very seriously - a generational full back - walker was 50 back then - we need another 60 70
A KDB regen - 120-150 million
A VVD or Laporte - 80-90 mil
A Mahrez or two - another 100 million
I don’t know we can do that but we did that before once when Pep arrived and we ended up with tons of trophies
