Palace was very unlucky to only get 1 points.
Eh, I think you're misreading what is going on here. I have wrote this many times but I'll write it again: if you asked Gundogan if he was good to play in every game, play for at least 75 minutes, and play in a role that was formerly Rodri's - I think he would say, no way.Instead of throwing abuses like losers do when they can't win an argument, try and respond to my points below, if you have more than 2 brain cells:
"I really think gundogun is city's biggest problem. When he plays he gets in fodens and Bernardo's way. Fodens best game was when gundogun didn't start. Gundy has no energy. No creativity - can't find a through pass to save his life. Weakest link in transitions, just can't run, doesn't even pretend to run anymore. What is the point of gundogun. No goals, no assists, no control in midfield, no tempo, doesn't help with transitions. The one thing he might have though it's the highest number of successful passes - all 5 yard sideways and backwards passes The greatest manager ever has his Achilles heel and his biggest blindspot and it's Gundogun".
Yes team selections have been the problem - not just the injuries. Today was the classic case. Walker, Gundo, Rico are always selected. Why? Grealish and Doku left on the bench despite their performances against Forest. Added to this ... why does Pep leave it so late to make substitutions? He does indeed need to have a word with himself.I am sorry but Pep needs to have a word with himself. Team selection and subs were way off it yet again.
"Play like that the rags will beat us convincingly with the amount of pace they have in midfield and upfront" Not if we play Jack and Doku. Forest dealt well with the rags. We will also beat them - if we get team selection right.Got away with that....so poor al around.
Gundo is done....he is actually a hinderance and keeps losing possession
Walker has never been able to defend crosses...he now cant defend full stop.
KDB isnt able to run....he can barely get past a jog....if he has time and space he as the magic in his boots but he aint going to get the time and space he needs...
Our midfield set up and individual players are leaving the likes of Dias (who is one of only a couple who had a good game) totally exposed.
Lewis is getting away with it (from the fans point of view) as he is from the academy but he simply isnt good enough - again like Gundo he is constantly giving up possession. His goal does nothing to change the overall picture.
The biggest issue is Gundo and Lewis and right back.....all need replacing asap.
Even Bernardo payed poor today - his giveaway that led to the second goal from the corner...
Play like that the rags will beat us convincingly with the amount of pace they have in midfield and upfront.....forget about the CL we need to focus on making sure we qualify for it next year
There's an interesting article on the sky sports website from Oliver Glasner about how Palace set their game plan based around our weaknesses. Tallies up with some of what we've been seeing recently.
Yep, I agree ..... Walker had to make more of an effort to reach that cross, or to have at least tried to put the Palace player off ....... he seemed rooted to the spot as they scored. The more I watch walker for their 2nd the angrier I get. Zero effort to win the ball. Lewis very unlucky to be sent off but his all round play was dreadful just not strong enough.
His poor performances are beginning to overshadow his past displays and achievementsInstead of throwing abuses like losers do when they can't win an argument, try and respond to my points below, if you have more than 2 brain cells:
