Mixed performance. Dias exceptional, referee poor, Lewis unfortunate, Walker another below par performance.

Ake, Akanji, Foden, Kovacic, Rodri, Bobb, Stones all out injured. In those circumstances, not bad. Of course, we could have gone for the same side as in the last game and then, when players get injured for playing too much, people here will be complaining that they shouldn't have been picked in the first place!

I don’t think it’s as bad people are making out and I agree with Walker, it’s his time to go now but I do genuinely think we would have scored a third in that last 15 mins if it wasn’t for that god awful referee. Never a second yellow and no other referee is blowing the whistle there. A lot more improved from an injury hit squad. Can not wait for this rebuild though.

Genuinely though the ref was poor.

If we're not losing players to injury, it's to red cards now. We really could do with a bit of fortune regarding all these injuries.

Ahhh.

It's going to be a long season lads and lasses we need to grin and bear it.

Ref was a ****. Never a 2nd yellow, blew for absolutely everything Palace way.

Too many under performing players and injuries absolutely killing us. We'll make top 4 and hopefully win the FA Cup.

Frustrating refereeing performance that. Why no check for the Lewis red card, when technically their player fouls Lewis and it should at the very least be a penalty check?

A few weeks ago we would have lost that, so I guess it's progress of sorts. Still frustrating, but it's not an easy place to go at the best of times. With so many players unavailable it was always going to be difficult today. Need to start seeing results in the context of a top four battle, rather than the title, as that's long gone.

Correct. Forget the league.
