Crystal Palace (A) | Post Match Thread

How many chances do we have to create then? 9 clear chances is a lot. And I am not even counting when Foden was alone and instead of shooting decided to pass to Haaland. Tell me a number of chances created - chances conceded away from home against a difficult opponent (for us). Tell me. So spoilt this fanbase
I thought we played much better at Forest (again, my opinion) than tonight. As for Palace being a difficult opponent, here's our record against them in the last 23 years.... Screenshot_20230311_194641_Chrome.jpg

I mean.. they're completely different players. If I want a defender I'm choosing Ake 10 times out of 10. If I want someone between the lines or in the attacking third, I want Zinchenko.
The same Ake who has done more in the attacking sense than Zinchenko in the games against us.
A squad player who I liked left us.I have got over it time some more need to.

We seem to be beginning to cross to Haaland from out wide but still not balls in behind unfortunately. I think he had quite a poor game in terms of finishing and if he'd scored those chances we would not be worrying about service to him. It's coming together.

Yeah, agains Forest we were even better. We have been playing really well for about a month now. Again, 9 chances created is a lot, but people here are so spoiled that if we don't score 4 goals every game, then we are poor.

Last 10 matches agains Palace we have only won 6. Tell me any other team outside of the big 6 we struggle as much? Only 6 wins is way lower than our average, so yeah they are difficult for us.

Great win, pretty comfortable without playing particularly well. Rodri my motm, didn't give it away and was everywhere tonight. Well done lads
