Solid performance again liked the clean sheet naturally and no shots on target for them with a solid back four which will be the key to winning games from here on in.

Definitely deserved a bit of luck given our dominance albeit we couldn't find that cutting edge in front of goal in open play.

Relieved for the three points and lets keep the pressure on Arsenal.

The best team won, in the end. With better finishing the result would have been more flattering. Not our best performance and at times it was quite laboured. At the end of the day three points were what ultimately mattered most. On we go to Tuesday, we can't be as profligate then.

Palace home and away are two games I really don't like every season. To put it generously they are experienced at making sure other teams can't play and at ensuring the play is broken up and disjointed. I should also add the Zaha is certainly not a favourite player of mine. I thought it possible that we could drop at least a point today. But in the event we produced a very patient and professional performance. We were never going to put together a flowing 50 pass move, with everyone involved, before Erling sat the 'keeper down and rolled the ball in .... so we did what was necessary, dominated the ball, shut Palace out almost completely and waited for our opportunity. In fact we created more than one but one was all we needed. Well done City.

- Penalty
- tap in by Haaland.
- Rodri's shot.
- Haaland cross + reboind that almost got in.
- Grealish shooting completely alone and missing it.
-Foden's free kick.
- Haaland's header completely alone inside the box.
- Alvarez 1v1
- Haaland 1v1

That's 9 clear chances against 0 away against a team that is always hard for us. As I said, sensational.

I'v never heard him be that bad, so openly bad about us. Maybe something has happened behind the scenes that have annoyed him but tbh that was stark stark, he didnt even punctuate it with false praise.
