id imagine if you compared distance covered you’d be surprised how much Bernardo runs.

I think players like Fernandinho & Kante would be to differ.
Football has also slightly changed. The whole ethos behind our defensive work is closing down the passing lanes. Bernardo & Gundogan and the inverted full backs allow De Bruyne, Foden & Mahrez to hold the positions at the right times.

As a squad, a World Class manager will use his tools to the greatest affect.

You close down together and in formation. That’s how you stop running too much. It’s exactly what Pep said when asked how we turned our form around a few months ago.
